Biography

Natalie grew up in a small town in Connecticut. She graduated from Sacred Heart University earning dual degrees; a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Natalie also competed as a Division I athlete on Sacred Heart's Equestrian Team.

Natalie initially attended law school in New York at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University; she finished out her legal studies at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. Her studies emphasized Family and Juvenile law.

Natalie's clinical and intern experience included focuses on Women's Justice, Orders of Protection, Child and Family Law Clinic and the Domestic Violence Clinic. She was also the Vice President of the Family and Juvenile Law Association, and as a 3L (third-year) she participated in writing an amici curiae brief for the Arizona Supreme Court case McLaughlin v. McLaughlin, a seminal case in applying paternity statutes in a gender-neutral context. Natalie graduated with a certificate in Family and Juvenile Law, recognition of her concentration in Family Law during her academic career.

Natalie started as a Law Clerk during law school and has practiced exclusively Family Law. Natalie has been with Elkins and Muir since spring of 2021. Natalie's view is that each family is unique. She has a particular passion for gender-related challenges within the law and high conflict family law cases. Natalie works with her clients to find creative solutions that best work for the family and to resolve the issues that caused the conflict.

Through her life experiences, at a young age, Natalie learned that she wanted to be a voice for change in Family and Juvenile Law, and advocate to support families through difficult times. Natalie's strengths are listening to her clients, paying attention to detail, and presenting the case in an organized and thoughtful manner. Natalie will stand up for you and your family.

When she is not devoting time to a case, Natalie enjoys riding horses, spending time with her friends, her family, and her dog Lola.
